YOUR FIRST VISIT
During your first new patient visit, you will receive a full and comprehensive oral exam. X-Rays will be taken to determine if any further dental treatment is required. Then, we will provide a professional dental cleaning and talk to you about which treatments may be the most effective to improve your teeth and gums.
ORAL EXAMS
Routine Exams should be an integral part of overall health care. It is important to regularly undergo a professional oral examination to detect cavities, as well as monitor bacteria buildup and decay. Our hygienists are looking for more than plaque — we’re measuring your gums as well as evaluating your bone, oral cavity, and joints.
X- RAYS AND OUR DENTAL TECHNOLOGY
We use Digital X-Rays and Cone Beam Technology and 3D Imaging to make the diagnosis and treatment planning processes more accurate. Three-dimensional dental imagery allows for better diagnosis, treatment planning, and enhanced detail because we can get a 360-degree view with less radiation exposure when compared to other x-ray techniques. Our office is also equipped with CEREC CAD/CAM Technology. Depending on the patient’s needs, our team can manufacture precision custom dental crowns on-site in a single office visit.
DENTAL CLEANINGS
Tooth brushing and flossing at home helps remove plaque, but only a professional cleaning can remove the hardened plaque that builds up over time. This plaque can harden into tartar and pull minerals from your teeth, making your teeth weaker and vulnerable to acid and bacteria.
